::Leah Cagle::
Capturing Leah's heart and passion was a simple task. She has an obvious love for literature, and a sense of tranquility about her that is nothing short of contagious. Bart and I had a great time on this unique shoot, and I look forward to working with such a talented photographer. Check out his photos from this shoot, and his other work at http://bcope.myphotoalbum.com. Also, check out Leah's story, soon, at http://impactcharlotteblog.com

::Eric and Serenity::
I’m kind of at a loss for words on how to describe this shoot. It was a ball of fun, to say the least! Eric was a natural in front of the camera, and so was Serenity, once she warmed up :). A lot of the posing ideas were Eric’s, and they were brilliant! This was a great learning experience for me. It was the first time I’ve ever been behind the camera and “in charge” if you will, at a formal shoot. It will take some practice for me to get comfortable there. Plus, the lighting was a challenge with it being 5:30ish pm and overcast. And yet, the results express Serenity and Eric’s personalities as individuals and as a couple to a T. I hope you enjoy!

Krystin Paige
Watching your little sister grow up is a lot harder than I thought it would be. To me she's still like a baby. A baby with a cell phone, a license, a job, and a debit card.
If you think these pictures are good, it's because Krystin is gorgeous. Inside, and out. The night may have had it's fair share of drama, as do most nights for a High Schooler (am I right, or am I right?) but Krystin looked beautiful, as always,
and had a wonderful time.
Also, bear with me. I'm still learning how to use this whole blog thing.
Dream Big
I never thought, in all of my life, that I would succumb to getting a blog. I said the same thing about Twitter, but I have one of those too. (@jackiepalooza...*ahem*). The reason I finally got one is to get on all my friends nerves, and be really trendy.
Just kidding. The real reason I got one is to share my thoughts occasionally, if I feel like I have something really good to say, but mostly to share my photography. I'm what you may call a "budding" photographer, and I want to share my work somewhere other than on Facebook. I am aware that I have a lot to learn, and I plan to post my work with anticipation that people will share their comments and criticisms.
Photography is something I've wanted to pursue since High School, but never really had much of an opportunity to do so until recently. I have an Aunt and Uncle, Ryan and Misty Case, who own a Photography business, http://pixelsonpaper.biz. They have given me so many opportunities to practice, learn, and grow, and I am very grateful for them. My plan is to someday permanently work with them, or perhaps even have my own little business on the side. (WHOA! dream big.)
Anyway, I'm almost a Senior, studying Psychology and religious studies at UNC Charlotte. I'm heavily involved with a campus ministry called Impact (http://impactuncc.wordpress.com) and being a part of this community has, as cliche as it sounds, changed my life. My plan is to go to grad school to become a Christian Counselor. Perhaps one day you'll know me as Dr. Forrest. There I go dreaming big again. I hope you enjoy my blog, and I hope you share your thoughts with me and help me grow in my dreams and passions.
And you can call me Jackie.
